OVERVIEW
Sam Dean capitalized on two SBU errors in the 11th inning of the first game in the Southwest Baptist doubleheader, propelling the Lions to a 4-3 win. Lindenwood kept the momentum going with four more runs in the second game to complete the sweep with a 4-2 game two win. The wins move Lindenwood to 27-19 overall and 13-11 in MIAA action. With today's wins, the Lions have secured a winning record for the first time in the NCAA era of Lindenwood softball.

NOTABLE
- Megan Clark was one of the top Lion performers, recording a double, two steals, two runs and two RBIs.
- Sam Dean recorded a double and two steals, in addition to scoring the winning run in game one. 
- Austine Pauley legged out a triple in game two, her ninth of the season. By herself, she would rank fifth among MIAA teams in triples. 
- Marina Esparza combined to throw 11.2 IP in the two games, racking up seven strikeouts.
- Stormee Galka threw 5.2 IP, allowing only one earned run.
- Galka picked up her 14th win of the season, breaking her own Lindenwood record for single season pitcher wins in the NCAA era. She is one win away from second on the career wins list.
