OVERVIEW
Lindenwood softball captured the No. 7 seed in the MIAA Championship with a split against Central Missouri on Saturday afternoon. The Lions dropped the first game 6-4 before rebounding to shutout Central Missouri 6-0 in game two. With the split, the Lions finish the season 28-20 overall and 14-12 in MIAA action.

- Stormee Galka threw a complete game shutout in game two, scattering four hits, all singles. She struck out six in seven innings.
- In the first game, Sam Dean was 2-3 with a double and an RBI. Megan Clark also had two hits, going 2-4 with a run scored.
- Ceairra Perez-Lane hit a triple in game one, her first of the season.
- In game two, Adele Linderman went 1-2 with a double off the wall in left. She also scored a run and recorded an RBI.
- Austine Pauley hit her 10th triple of the season in game two, while recording two RBI.

The Lions will play the No. 2 seed Jennies again next week in the opening round of the MIAA Championship at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
