GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's soccer team dropped its home-opening match against Maryville by a final score of 3-1 on Monday evening from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo. With the loss, the Lions move to 0-1-1 to open the 2018 season.

Morgan Weller scored Lindenwood's first goal of the season in the 59th minute of the match, bringing Lindenwood within one goal of the visiting Saints.

Maryville answered nearly seven minutes later with an insurance tally, extending their lead to a 3-1 margin that would stand up as the final score.
