GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood men's soccer team dropped its first match of the season by a final score of 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon against the No. 3 Rockhurst Hawks from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo. Following the loss, the Lions move to 1-1-1 to begin the 2018 season.
Rockhurst netted the match's only goal in the fourth minute, and never relinquished its lead. The Hawks goal came following a corner kick opportunity from the right side of the field, which was then headed from one Rockhurst player to another, and then into the upper left corner of the goal.
Lindenwood managed several quality opportunities throughout the match, but was unable to find an equalizing score.
