Lindenwood field hockey won its third consecutive contest with a 3-2 victory over Franklin Pierce. The win moves Lindenwood to 3-1 overall this season.
Noor Fons opened the scoring on a goal in the ninth minute with an assist from
Jessie Londono. Londono added a goal of her own in the 20th minute on a penalty stroke. Franklin Pierce scored right after halftime to cut the Lion lead to 2-1.
Mary Clare Banholzer scored her first collegiate goal in the 52nd minute to close out the Lindenwood scoring. FPU scored again, but Lindenwood emerged victorious 3-2.

- The Lion defense was strong in the first half, limiting Franklin Pierce to only one shot.
- Banholzer led the Lion attack with three shots (all on goal), while tallying her first goal.
- Fons scored her second goal in as many games while taking two shots.
