OVERVIEW
No. 6 Lindenwood wrestling (8-2, 2-0 MIAA) rolled over Truman State 57-0 on Tuesday night in Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo. Prior to the match, the Lions officially signed
Chris Bini | Team IMPACT to the roster.
Lindenwood dominated the Bulldogs with four pins, one major decision, and one tech fall. The other four victories came via forfeit by Truman State.
Edison Brooks and
Tage McNutt each pinned their opponents in the first two minutes of their respective matches.
Jorge Guerrero and
Jared McKindley toyed with their opponents before registering their pins as well.
Marshall Green controlled his opponent the entire match en route to a 19-0 tech fall victory.
Tanner Hitchcock put up a 14-2 major decision victory over his opponent at 133 pounds.
Head Coach
Jimmy Rollins and the wrestling program held a signing party for Bini prior to the match, as he and his twin brother, Nathan, celebrated their 11th birthday. Team IMPACT is a non-profit organization that works to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses. Chris served as an honorary captain for the night and sat on the bench with the team and Nathan during the dual.
