MATCH OVERVIEW
The home team wasted little time taking control of the match, scoring just 77 seconds into the first half. Sammi Gregory fed Maggie Miller down the right side of the field, at which point Miller delivered a centering pass for Mia Corrigan, who buried her chance into the left side of the net to give Lindenwood a 1-0 lead.

In the 15th minute of the match, Lindenwood extended its lead to a two-goal margin, as Gregory headed home a chance off of a free-kick from Kaleigh Kastberg.

The Lions carried the 2-1 edge into halftime.
