MATCH OVERVIEW
Lindenwood freshman Maider Sancho led the Lions with four services aces in a four-set loss to Southern Indiana. The native of Spain also tallied 15 digs and seven kills as a multi-category contributor for Lindenwood. With the loss, Lindenwood falls to 8-8 overall and 1-6 in the GLVC.

NOTABLE
- Mackenzi Sifuentes continued to excel for the Lions, leading the team with nine kills and five blocks while hitting .304.
- Emma Engelbrecht posted eight kills, tied for the second-best performance of her collegiate career.
- Kat Finnerty notched seven kills with a team-leading .545 attack percentage.
- Sara Wagenknecht led the Lions' defense with 23 digs. 
- As a team, Lindenwood collected eight aces with only five reception errors. Maider Sancho led the way with four, followed by Saide Kosciuk and Kaitlyn Chan with two each.

The Lions will compete in the Midwest Crossover next weekend, featuring teams from throughout the Midwest Region. The Crossover takes place on Oct. 18-19 in Indianapolis.
