GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood dropped a hard-fought contest to former conference rival Newberry, 1-0, on the campus of Bellarmine. Both teams battled for the first half. Lindenwood kept the Wolves off the board until the 44th minute on just their sixth shot of the game. The Lions seemingly tied the game in the 58th minute, but the goal was disallowed by the officials. The defeat drops Lindenwood to 6-5 overall. 

NOTABLE
- The Lions kept an 11-6 edge on shots, including a 7-4 disparity in the first half. Shots on goal were 4-2 in favor of the Lions. Newberry was unable to take a shot in the fourth quarter.
- Lindenwood was aggressive in the circle, forcing seven penalty corners while surrendering only two.
- Bridget Hoogendijk took four shots in the contest, three on goal.
- Annick Giebels shot three times while Mary Clare Banholzer took two shots. Pauline Terwindt placed her lone shot on goal.
- Mackenzie Litterst played most of the game in goal, allowing one goal with one save in 55:06. This season, she has played 687:54 in goal and allowed 17 goals for a 1.48 goals against average.
