The Lindenwood women's hockey team (0-2-0) will hit the road for the first time of 2019-20, as the Lions head to Bemidji, Minn. for a two-game series against Bemidji State (0-0-0) starting on Friday at 6:07 p.m.
The Lions are looking to bounce back after taking two losses this past weekend to No. 1 Wisconsin. The Badgers paid a visit to Maryland Heights, Mo. to open the new Centene Community Ice Center.
Sophie Wolf made 35 saves in game one, and 36 saves in game two.Â
Hannah Alt scored the first goal for the Lions in the new arena, while
Lauren Dabrowski posted the first of her career.
Cierra Paisley led the Lions in the faceoff dot with 20 wins over the two games.Â

Kayla Martinez each registered an assist in the two games against the Badgers. Lindenwood will take on its second-straight WCHA team this weekend. The Lions will play two more teams from the WCHA later this season.
The Beavers return the team leader in points from last year, Clair DeGeorge. In 36 games played, DeGeorge scored nine goals and dished out 13 assists , while scoring three game-winning goals. Lauren Bench returns to the goal crease for Bemidji State, earning nine wins and posting four shutouts in 2018-19. Bench registered a 2.51 goals against average with a .909 save percentage last year.
The Beavers went 13-21-2 last season, including a 10-12-2 mark within the WCHA.
