Field Hockey Offense Explodes for Five Goals

GAME DETAILS
Lindenwood field hockey scored a season high five goals en route to a 5-0 win over Seton Hill on the road. Bridget Hoogendijk led the offense with a hat trick, her second of the season. With the win, the Lions move to 9-6 this season. 

LINDENWOOD SCORING SUMMARY
8:42 - Pauline Terwindt sent a pass across the front of the net, where a waiting Bridget Hoogendijk finished to put the Lions on the board. 
29:59 - Hoogendijk scores her second tally of the game, redirecting an insertion from outside the circle. 
35:53 - Hoogendijk put a pass on net where a streaking Terwindt was able to tap the call past the keeper. 
39:13 - Hoogendijk earned her final goal of the game, finishing a Marnie Reidell pass right in front of the cage. 
51:19 - Lauren Roberts scored her third goal of the season finishing the assist from Taylor Sullivan. 

NOTABLE
- Bridget Hoogendijk scored three goals in the contest, giving her 15 for the season, tied for the fifth-most in program history. She owns three of the top five single-season goal totals in the Lindenwood record book. 
- All game, the Lindenwood offense was peppering Seton Hill with shots. The Lions outshot SHU 19-4 in the game. Lindenwood also held the edge in penalty corners at 6-1. 
- Mackenzie Litterst played all 60 minutes in goal, her second shutout this year. 
- Hoogendijk and Taylor Sullivan led the Lindenwood offense with four shots each. Hoogendijk and Pauline Terwindt led the way with three shots on goal. 
- Hoogendijk and Terwindt each tallied an assist in the contest and are now tied for second on the team with three.
