Lindenwood women's volleyball dropped a three-set match at Illinois Springfield in the first of two matches in the Land of Lincoln. Libero Sara Wagenknecht commanded the back row with 11 digs. The defeat drops the Lions to 10-10 overall and 1-7 in GLVC play.

NOTABLE
- Sara Wagenknecht led Lindenwood with 11 digs. It is her sixth consecutive match with double-digit digs and her 10th this season. 
- Emma Englebrecht led the Lions with nine kills and recorded a block assist. 
- Maider Sancho notched eight kills with five digs.
- Sarah Stretch was the team setter and led the team with 25 assists.
- Hannah Borchelt led the net defense with three blocks.
- Alex Bogus was the lone Lion to notch an ace. 
- Sadie Kosciuk only played one set, but tallied four kills on eight swings for a .500 attack percentage. 
- Both teams excelled in serve receive with a mere three aces in the entire match.
