Field Hockey Drops Assumption Contest

GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood field hockey played their third nationally ranked foe in as many contests, falling to #8 Assumption 3-0. Mackenzie Litterst played the entire game in goal for the Lions. Her 11 saves match a career-high for the senior. Lindenwood drops to 5-4 overall. 

NOTABLE
- Bridget Hoogendijk led the Lions with three shots (one on goal).
- Jessie Londono and Caro Theunisz also took shots on goal against the Greyhounds.
- Mackenzie Litterst notched 11 saves in the game. The final save was the 100th of her career, making her the third goalie in program history to reach 100 career saves.
- Litterst also reached 51 saves on the season, the seventh 50+ save season at Lindenwood. 

UP NEXT
The Lions return home on Oct. 13 to host Converse College at Hunter Stadium. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
