The Lindenwood men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 setback at the hands of the Quincy Hawks on Friday evening from Quincy, Ill. With the loss, Lindenwood moves its record to 7-5-4 and 6-4-4from within the GLVC.
MATCH OVERVIEW
The match opened with just over 40 scoreless minutes of play, as each team searched for the opening goal. With 4:14 remaining in the first half, Quincy found the back of the net, scoring what would prove to be the game-winning goal just before halftime.
Quincy carried the one-goal lead into the intermission.
In the second half, the Hawks added two more goals to their lead, extending the margin to a 3-0 total. The three-goal lead would hold through the final whistle as Quincy prevailed with the victory.
