The Lindenwood women's soccer team was defeated 1-0 by the Quincy Hawks on Friday evening from Quincy, Ill. With the loss, Lindenwood moves its record to 7-8-1 and 6-7-1 from within the GLVC.
MATCH OVERVIEW
After nearly 35 minutes of scoreless action to begin the match, the home team broke through with the first goal of the evening. Quincy's goal in the 34th minute gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead, which they carried into the halftime intermission.
The Lions spent the entirety of the second half searching for the game-tying goal. Despite its best efforts, Lindenwood was unable to pull even with the Hawks before the end of the second half, ultimately falling by the final score of 1-0.

Mia Corrigan fueled the offensive attack for Lindenwood throughout the match, leading the team with six shots, including two shots on goal.
