The Lindenwood women's hockey team (2-7-2, 0-3-0 CHA) lost 2-0 to Robert Morris (5-5-1, 3-0-0 CHA) on Friday night at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Mo.

GAME OVERVIEW
Robert Morris started out with the quick step in the opening period, notching a goal at the 13:07 mark of the first period to take a 1-0 lead. Lindenwood committed three penalties in the first frame, surrendering 12 shots in the period.

The Lions settled down in the second period and outshot the Colonials 8-5 and kept it a one-goal game. Robert Morris came out and tallied 13 shots in the third period, while holding the Lions to just four. Lindenwood had a few quality chance late, but an empty net goal for the Colonials sealed the first game of the series.
