No. 4 Women’s Lacrosse Picks Up Dominant Road Victory

GAME OVERVIEW
The No. 4 Lindenwood women's lacrosse team picked up a convincing road victory at UVa-Wise on Sunday afternoon, winning by a final score of 21-3. Carly Fedorowski had a career-best game, totaling eight points and also matched a single-game program record with 13 secured draw controls.

Lindenwood found itself trailing UVa-Wise by a score of 2-1 after the first 5:06 of play. However, the Lions responded by scoring the final 10 goals of the half, and carried an 11-2 lead into halftime.

Gracie Pine netted three goals during Lindenwood's pivotal first-half stretch, while Fedorowski and Smit each had two.

The Lions' strong play extended into the second half, as they poured on the first 10 goals of the half, extending their lead to 21-2 over the Cavaliers. UVa-Wise tallied the game's final score as time expired, bringing the game to its final score of 21-3.
