No. 4 Women's Lacrosse Rolls to Home-Opening Victory

The No. 4 Lindenwood women's lacrosse team defeated Concordia-St. Paul by a final score of 18-2 victory in its home opener on Sunday afternoon from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo. The Lions were led offensively by the duo of Carly Fedorowski and Hailey Gallant, who combined to score nine goals and account for 11 points.

GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood was in control of the game from its onset, as Gallant scored her first of five goals on the day just 88 seconds into play. The Lions would score the game's first five goals, and 11 of the 12 goals during the first half. Lindenwood took an 11-1 lead into the halftime break.

The Lions outscored the Golden Bears by a 7-1 margin in the second half, pushing the game to its final score of 18-2.
