Darroch Reaches Milestone as No. 16 Men's Lacrosse Moves to 3-0

GAME OVERVIEW
The No. 16 Lindenwood men's lacrosse team extended its record to 3-0 on Monday afternoon with an 18-6 victory over Walsh from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo. Among the many highlights in the game for the Lions was senior captain, Sean Darroch joining the program's 100-point club. Darroch's four-goal performance brought his career total to exactly 100 career points, the fourth-most points by a player during Lindenwood's NCAA era.

Lindenwood flexed its muscle early and often, as the team outscored Walsh, 7-0 throughout the first quarter. Darroch and Colin Domek alternated goals to open the first-quarter scoring for the Lions. Garrett Brunsvold, Grant Glazier, and Carter Collins all followed with goals during the opening frame.

Lindenwood continued its dominant play in the second quarter, scoring four of the next five goals before halftime, helping the Lions to carry an 11-1 lead into the break.

The Lions would outscore the Cavaliers by a 7-6 margin during the final two quarters, never allowing the visitors back into the game.

- Glazier registered his second hat trick of the season, and his third multi-goal game.
- Leonard Jones finished the afternoon with four points, including three assists. Jones has a team-high nine assists this season.
- Domek tallied a hat trick in his first action of the season.
- Bryce Horstman, Mathieu Jung, and Shane Sullivan all scored the first goals of their Lindenwood careers in the win.
- Danny Kowalski anchored the Lindenwood defense with a team-leading three caused turnovers.
- Landon Schuster earned the victory in goal for Lindenwood, stopping two of the three shots he faced.
- Ciemiewicz relieved Schuster at the start of the second half, stopping five of the 10 shots he saw.
