The Lions stopped Davenport 2-1 Friday evening at the Patterson Ice Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, improving to 24-1-0 overall on the season.
After a scoreless first period,
Kyler Newman put Lindenwood on the board off a feed from
Jordan Klimovsky at 11:25 in the second, but the Panthers answered with a short-handed score just 38 seconds later. Â With the game tied, Klimovsky showed off his passing skills once again to set up
Alex Kalau with 5:24 remaining. That proved to be the game-winning goal as the Lions kept Davenport from finding the back of the net the rest of the contest.Â

Cooper Seedott stopped 23 of 24 to earn the victory in goal.Â
