GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood softball split its twinbill in Peoria, Ill. with a loss to UIS before rebounding to top Lewis. The Lions led UIS through the fourth inning, but a late rally dropped LWU. In the second game of the day, Lindenwood mashed two home runs to overpower Lewis 4-1. The Lions are now 6-2 on the season.

UP NEXT
The Lions were originally scheduled to play a midweek contest against St. Louis College of Pharmacy this week, but those contests have been postponed to April. Now, Lindenwood's next contest will be the MIAA opener at Emporia State on Friday, March 8. The doubleheader against the Hornets is set for 2 p.m. in Emporia, Kan.
