GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's hockey team (7-21-3, 3-14-2 CHA) lost 3-1 to Penn State (12-13-8, 6-9-4 CHA) on Friday night at Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo.

Penn State scored an odd goal from near center ice as the fluttering puck got past
Sophie Wolf for the first goal of the game. Lindenwood tied the game at the 2:56 mark of the third period on a power play goal from
Megan Wagner.Â
Hannah Alt threw the puck at the net and Wagner jammed in the rebound to tie the game at 1-1.

The Nittany Lions regained the lead on a power play goal of their own at the 11:55 mark of the third. Penn State added an insurance goal just four minutes later to take a 3-1 lead with little time remaining. The Lions pressed late in the game, but it was too little too late as Penn State defeated Lindenwood 3-1.
