GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's hockey team (7-21-4, 3-14-3 CHA) wrapped up its regular season on Saturday with at 3-3 tie against Penn State (12-13-9, 6-9-5 CHA) in the final game at Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo.

Penn State jumped on the board in the first five minutes to take an early 1-0 lead. Lindenwood roared back in the first 39 seconds as
Cierra Paisley found
Shannon Morris-Reade in front of the net for the game-tying goal. Just six minutes later,
Nicole Guagliardo took a pass from
Courtney Ganske to net the go ahead goal on the power play.

Lindenwood looked like it would carry a 2-1 lead into the break, but Penn State scored the tying goal at the 15:31 mark of the second period. The Lions went on the power play again in the third, leading to a goal tipped in by
Sierra Burt. Penn State again tied the game, this time at the 14:24 mark of the third period to make it 3-3. Neither team was able to find the back of the net in overtime, as the final game for the Lions at Lindenwood Ice Arena ended in a 3-3 tie.
