GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood baseball team (8-12, 3-5 MIAA) struggled on Sunday in a 13-2 loss to Pittsburg State (9-9, 4-4 MIAA) at Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.
 
Neil Fischer put the Lions on the board in the first inning with a sacrifice fly to left field.  Pittsburg State answered with a run in the top of the second and four more in the top of the third to go ahead 5-1.  The Lions got one run back in the bottom of the third on an infield single by Bryce Beckmann.  Lindenwood stranded three runners in the inning to make it five runners left on base in the first three innings combined.
 
The Gorillas found a grove at the plate and did not slow down as they put up another four-run inning in the top of the sixth.  Pittsburg State held the Lions in check at the dish and registered a 13-2 win over Lindenwood in game two.  Lindenwood stranded 12 runners, while the pitching staff walked eight batters and hit three.
