The Lindenwood men's tennis team (2-7) won its second-straight match after defeating Missouri Valley College 5-2 on Saturday in St. Charles, Mo.
Guillaume Teste had two clutch victories by scores of 7-5, 7-5 in his match, while
Michele Gaspari won his two sets by a 7-5 margin and a 6-1 differential.
Theo Butaeye (6-4, 6-3) and
Juan Albin (6-1, 6-1) each picked up a two-set win in their matches as well.
Logan Orr had a marathon of a match as he lost in three sets by scores of 7-6, 2-6, 10-12.
Butaeye and Teste teamed up to win their doubles match by a 6-3 final.
Hector Horcajada and Orr earned a slim 7-6 victory in their doubles competition to help earn the team point.
Lindenwood will return to the court on Tuesday when the Lions host William Woods at 2 p.m. in St. Charles, Mo.
