GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood softball split its doubleheader at Missouri Western with a 6-3 loss in game one and a 9-3 win in the second game. Lindenwood freshman Taylor Bushman excelled against the Griffons, going a combined 5-8 with two runs scored. The rookie is up to a team-leading .429 batting average this season. Lindenwood is now 17-11 overall and 6-8 in MIAA games. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- In game one, the Lions jumped out to a 3-0 lead heading to the bottom of the fourth, but were unable to stave off the Griffon offense.
- Taylor Bushman was 2-4 in the opening game.
- Hanna Porter was 1-4 with an RBI.
- Austine Pauley was 1-1 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and two walks drawn.
- Ceairra Perez was 1-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. 

- In the second game, the Lions were tied with Missouri Western through four innings, but scored five runs in the fifth and three in the sixth. Lindenwood out-hit the Griffons 12-7 in game two.
- Bushman went 3-4 with two runs in the second game.
- Caitlyn Touchette was 2-4 with two runs scored and a double.
- Austine Pauley also went 2-4 in game two. She added a steal. 
- Courtney Klosinski, Hanna Porter and Keri Sheehan each had a double in the game. 
- Stormee Galka picked up the win, her 10th of the season. striking out five over the complete game.
