GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood softball junior 
Austine Pauley hit her sixth home run of the season as the Lions dropped both games of a doubleheader at Northwest Missouri State. Her sixth round-tripper ties her mark from 2017 for the third-most single-season home runs in Lindenwood NCAA history. Lindenwood is now 17-13 overall and 6-10 in MIAA games. 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Lions trailed 9-5 headed to the seventh innning, and scored five runs in the frame to take a 10-9 lead. Unfortunately, Northwest Missouri hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the inning to get the game one win.
- 
Austine Pauley was 1-3 in the game with a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs. 
- 
Sam Dean was 3-4 with a double, a steal, a run and an RBI.
- 
Hanna Porter went 2-3 with a double and a run scored. 
- 
Courtney Klosinski and 
Taylor Bushman each went 2-4 with Klosinski scoring twice and driving in one and Bushman recording one run.
- In game two, 
Ceairra Perez was 1-2 with an RBI.
- 
Austine Pauley and 
Keri Sheehan each went 1-3 and Sheehan scored the Lions lone run. 
- Klosinski did not record a hit, but drew a walk against the Bearcats to extend her on-base streak to 20 games, the Lions' longest such streak of the season.

The Lions host Pittsburg State and Missouri Southern in a pair of doubleheaders this weekend at the Lou Brock Sports Complex. Lindenwood takes on the Gorillas on Friday at 2 p.m. and the Lions Saturday at noon.
