Matchup Preview
- The Lindenwood gymnastics team will be just the third-ever NCAA Division II program to compete in an NCAA Regional on Thursday afternoon in Baton Rouge, La.
- The 36th-ranked Lions will take on No. 35 George Washington University in the Baton Rouge Regional first round, with the winner advancing to compete against No. 3 LSU, No. 14 Auburn, and No. 21 Arizona on Friday evening.
- Lindenwood is ranked higher than George Washington on two of the four events, and is tied with the Colonials on one other.

Lindenwood Gymnastics History
- Lindenwood joins Bridgeport (2013) and Seattle Pacific (1988) as the only non-Division I institutions to qualify for an NCAA Regional.
- Lindenwood began competing in 2013 and is in just its seventh season of competition in 2019.
- The Lions have won two USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championships in their seven-year history. Lindenwood captured its first title in 2015, and secured its second title the following season at home in Hyland Arena.
- Next week (April 12-14), Lindenwood will seek its third USA Gymnastics National Championship in the last five seasons from Bridgeport, Conn.
- Last month, Lindenwood secured a share of the Midwest Independent Conference (MIC) title for the fifth consecutive season, setting a new conference record in the process.

- The Lions set a new program record this season with a Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) of 195.400, the highest mark in program history.
- Lindenwood has achieved a score above 195 six times this season, matching the program record set during the 2018 season.
- The Lions have eclipsed the 195-platueu in four consecutive meets dating back to Mar. 3.
- Lindenwood has already earned two victories over teams ranked inside the top 25 this season.
- On Feb. 15, the Lions upended No. 23 Iowa State at the GymQuarters Invitational. Nearly one month later, Lindenwood took down No. 17 Missouri at the State of Missouri Meet on Mar. 10.
Lindenwood Gymnastics Individual Notes
- Lindenwood had 18 MIC all-conference selections this season, including nine first-team honors.

Ryan Henry received a team-high five all-conference selections, including first-team accolades on the beam, floor, and all-around.
- Henry has contributed a team-leading 465.025 total points to the Lions scores this season across all four events.

Aleah Leman (vault) were the other first-team selections for Lindenwood.
- Boogerd earned a share of the MIC Vault Championship. Boogerd scored a 9.825 on the vault at the championships, matching her career-high score.

Courtney Mitchell was named as the MIC Gymnast of the Week five times during the season, setting a new program record.
- Mitchell has achieved high scores for Lindenwood across all four events this season; vault (9.875), bars (9.900), beam (9.900), floor (9.900), and all-around (39.350).
