The No. 15 Lindenwood men's lacrosse team suffered a 15-4 loss at No. 13 Mount Olive on Saturday afternoon. The loss snaps a two-game winning streak for the Lions and brings their record to 9-4 on the season.
GAME OVERVIEW
Mount Olive wasted little time breaking a scoreless tie just 31 seconds into the game.
Lindenwood answered back just over seven minutes later, as
Garrett Brunsvold tallied an unassisted score.
Mount Olive took the lead for good with 82 seconds left in the first quarter, scoring its first of eight straight goals as it built a commanding 9-1 lead.
Lindenwood would receive scores from
Carter Collins,
Coulter Strauss, and
Jake Campbell before the end of the game, but the Lions ultimately fell by a final score of 15-4.
