The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) named its women's scholar athletes for the 2019 season and 13 Lions earned the honor.

Six were recognized as Outstanding including Isabella Boccia, Madison Burkhalter, Brooke Teson, Marina Vela Genesca, Sydney Walsh, and Betsy Zanocco; three earned Superior recognition including Nicole Howe, Harmony Moran, and Hanna Muller; and four received Excellent honors including Olivia Coplin, Kayla Hamilton, Noelle Redman, and Abby VerMeer.  The team as a whole earned the fourth highest combined GPA in the country at 3.50.

Overall, 140 CWPA women's collegiate club student-athletes received recognition for achieving a grade point average of 3.2 or higher.  A full list of honorees is available at the CWPA website.
