The Lindenwood men's and women's tennis teams competed in the Illinois Springfield Invitational this past weekend in Springfield, Ill.
 
Many players found success both individually and as a pair in doubles competition.  On both the men's and women's side, Lindenwood registered at least one win in each doubles match played.  Logan Orr and Azur Mujezinovic teamed up to advance to the championship match in the "B" flight.
 
Orr lost his first singles match of the day, but responded to win the back draw.  In the final match, Orr won 6-4, lost 7-6, and closed out the day with a thrilling 10-8 win.  Natalia Cordero had the best showing for the women's side.  Cordero won her first match of the day by scores of 6-2 and 6-4.
 
Lindenwood will host Maryville on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in St. Charles, Mo.
