The Lindenwood women's soccer dropped a 1-0 decision to the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles on Friday evening from Evansville, Ind. With the loss, Lindenwood moves its season record to 2-4-0 and 1-3-0 inside the GLVC.
MATCH OVERVIEW
Southern Indiana broke through with the first goal of the match in the 28th minute, taking a 1-0 lead. The Screaming Eagle goal would be the only score of the first half, as Southern Indiana took the one-goal lead into halftime.
Lindenwood registered eight shots during the second half, including five on goal. The Lions limited Southern Indiana to just one shot in the second half, and zero shots on goal. However, despite its increased pressure, Lindenwood was unable to find the equalizing score before time expired in the second half.
