The Lindenwood women's soccer team ended up on the wrong side of a 1-0 decision on Sunday afternoon in Lebanon, Ill. The Lions were defeated by the McKendree Bearcats, moving their record to 2-5-0 on the season and 1-4-0 inside the GLVC.

MATCH OVERVIEW
McKendree managed to get on the scoreboard first, finding the back of the net in the 31st minute of the match to take a 1-0 lead.

Despite that result, Lindenwood controlled the action in the first half, accounting for five of the seven shots on goal in the frame. However, the McKendree goalkeeper kept the Lions from tying the score. The Bearcats would hold the one-goal lead as the two sides entered halftime.

Each side logged a total of six shots in the second half, but Lindenwood was unsuccessful in its search for the game-tying goal, as McKendree prevailed by a 1-0 score.
