Alt, Dabrowski Score in Loss for Women's Hockey

The Lindenwood women's hockey team (0-2-0) lost 6-2 to No. 1 Wisconsin (2-0-0) on Saturday afternoon at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Mo.  Hannah Alt scored the first Lindenwood goal in the new building, while Lauren Dabrowski netted her first career goal in the third period.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions started off with quality pressure, but the Badgers quickly flipped the ice by scoring three goals in less than four minutes of play.  Lindenwood stopped the bleeding with a goal at the 10:42 mark of the opening frame after Alt scored on a one-timer to make it 3-1.

Wisconsin scored its fourth goal of the game just 24 seconds into the third period, building its lead back up to three goals.  The Badgers scored again to start the third, this time on a loose puck in the crease on the power play.

A few minutes later, Kayla Martinez entered the zone and beat a defender to get a shot on goal.  The puck moved across the crease and Dabrowski buried the goal for her first career goal.  The Lions trailed 5-2, but the Badgers closed out the game with another power play goal, leading to a 6-2 victory on Saturday.
