The Lindenwood women's hockey team (2-14-3, 0-8-0 CHA) lost 3-2 to Penn State (9-9-1, 4-3-1 CHA) on Saturday in University Park, Pa.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions surrendered a goal halfway through the first period, and allowed a late goal with 14 seconds remaining to fall behind 2-0. Penn State scored another goal halfway through the second period to take a commanding 3-0 lead.

Kirsten Martin put the Lions on the board at the 15:19 mark of the second period to give the Lions a chance. Lindenwood scored a goal with an extra skater late in the third, but the hole was too deep to climb out. The Lions had more quality chances as the game progressed, but could not find the equalizer.
