MATCH OVERVIEW
Lindenwood opposite Jeremy Kirch tallied a team-best 11 kills in a four-set loss to NJIT. The sophomore posted his second double-digit kill total of the season while also notching an ace and two blocks. The defeat moves Lindenwood to 2-2 overall this season.

NOTABLE
- Jeremy Kirch had 11 kills, an ace, two blocks and two digs against the Highlanders while hitting .233.
- Diego Negron excelled at the service line, notching five aces in the four set match. He also had six kills, four blocks and eight digs.
- Alex Pappas earned his first start of the season and responded with a team-high nine blocks,
- The middle tandem of Pappas and Cal Werths both went for five kills on nine swings for a .556 attack percentage.
- AJ Lewis tallied seven kills with an ace and three blocks. 
- Elijah Tabuarua had 32 assists and six blocks in the match. 
- Libero Kyle Deutschmann led the Lions with 10 digs. 

UP NEXT
The Lions host the Lindenwood Invitational next weekend, Jan. 23-26. Lindenwood will compete against San Diego, Lees-McRae and Grand Canyon in the tournament. McKendree and Quincy also will participate in the field.
