The Lindenwood Esports Overwatch squad went 1-2 in the Varsity Play-in bracket to conclude the competitive season.

The Lions started with a 2-0 victory against No. 26 seed Davenport University, but then fell to No. 7 University of Texas – Arlington 2-0.  After being knocked into the losers bracket, Lindenwood was eliminated by No. 40 seed Eastern Michigan 2-0.

The Lions entered the event as the 39th seed out of 49 teams after finishing 4-4 during the Varsity Second Chance Season after failing to earn placement at the Varsity International level.

The League of Legends squad will begin its season in January.
