The Lindenwood men's basketball team (3-0, 3-0 GLVC) will take on #18 Truman State (3-0, 3-0 GLVC) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo. The Lions and Bulldogs are two of three teams left in the GLVC with an unbeaten record.
Lindenwood is coming off an 88-74 win over Quincy last week, as
TJ Crockett earned GLVC Player of the Week honors for the second-straight time this year. Crockett scored 19 points against Maryville, and then dropped 23 points in the second half alone against Quincy.
The Lions are shooting 42.9 percent from the field, and 33.8 percent from three-point range. Lindenwood is averaging 10.3 steals per game, along with 6.0 blocks per game which has helped create a +12.3 point differential.
Truman State earned an 81-69 win over then No. 9 Missouri-St. Louis last week, while the Bulldogs lost to Indiana State on Tuesday in an exhibition game. The Bulldogs lead the series 4-3, including a two-point victory over the Lions last year.
