Women's Hockey Closes Out Road Trip Against Robert Morris

The Lindenwood women's hockey team (0-2-0, 0-2-0 CHA) is set to take on Robert Morris (0-0-0, 0-0-0 CHA)  in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Lions and Colonials are set to faceoff on Thursday at 6:05 p.m. (5:05 p.m. central).

Robert Morris defeated the Lions four times last season, Lindenwood scored the first goal in two of the four games a year ago. The November 9th loss was in overtime, as the Colonials came back from a three-goal deficit, winning 4-3.  Netminder Annika Asplundh made a season-high 49 saves in the loss. 

The Lions scored three goals in the second game of the series, which was a season high. Lindenwood scored three goals five other times during the season, compiling a 4-2-0 in those games. 

Sierra Burt (1 G, 1 A) led the way with two points against the Coloinals last season.  Last season, Burt led the team in points with 17 (6 G, 11 A). 

Megan Wagner also recorded an assist in the season series, as she ranked second on the team with 13 points (4 G, 9 A) last season. 

Asplundh is off to a strong start this season, boasting a .970 save percentage to go along with a minuscule 1.41 goals against average through two games played.
