The Lindenwood women's hockey team (5-21-3, 3-13-0 CHA) lost 8-0 to Syracuse on Saturday in Syracuse, N.Y.
 
GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions struggled to get past a quick goal by the Orange, just 2:41 into the game.  Syracuse compiled six goals in the second period, which aided in the season sweep of Lindenwood.
 
Kayla Martinez led the Lions with three shots, but Lindenwood could not find the back of the net on the 19 total shots.  Lauren Dabrowski compiled five blocked shots to lead the Lions, as Syracuse tallied 63 shots on the day.
