GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood softball suffered a tough loss to Saginaw Valley before rebounding to take down Wayne State on the first day of the Rosemont Dome Invitational. The split moves Lindenwood to 4-2 overall this season.

SVSU NOTABLE
- Lindenwood led for most of the game, but a six-run sixth from SVSU was too much for the Lions. 
- Stormee Galka was 2-4 at the plate, including a double and an RBI. In the circle, she threw an inning, striking out one and allowing one hit. 
- Junior transfer Whitney Wendel also went 2-4 with her second home run of the season. She posted two RBIs and two runs scored. 
- Taylor Bushman was 1-3 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base. 

WSU NOTABLE
- Against Wayne State, Lindenwood scored all seven of their runs in the third inning, powering the way to a 7-5 win. 
- Stormee Galka was 2-4 as the leadoff hitter for Lindenwood. She picked up the win as the starting pitcher, throwing five innings.
- Megan Clark also went 2-4 with a double and two RBIs.
- Hanna Porter was 1-3 with a double, a run scored and two RBIs.
- Hannah Johnson went 1-4 with a double and a run scored. 
- Lindenwood had three steals in the contest with Galka, Bushman and Keri Sheehan all swiping a bag. 
- Amanda Weyh threw two innings in relief, allowing two hits and picking up her first collegiate save.
