Bildner Sets Scoring Record in William Jewell Win

GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood senior forward Kallie Bildner scored 28 points in a 85-62 win over William Jewell breaking the Lindenwood career scoring record. Bildner now has 1,822 points, leap-frogging the 1,808 points scored by Shannon Malek from 1992-96. Bildner holds the Lindenwood career records for scoring and rebounding and the single season rebounding mark. With the win, the Lions rise to 16-8 overall and 12-6 in GLVC games. 

NOTABLE
- Kallie Bildner led the team in scoring and rebounding with 28 points and 14 rebounds. She was 11-14 from the field, 2-3 from three and 4-4 from the line. 
- Fellow senior Lindsay Medlen tallied 15 points on 6-9 shooting while posting eight assists, three steals and two blocks.
- Devin Fuhring and Julia Ruzevich each scored 13 points. Fuhring had six rebounds and was 3-6 from three while Ruzevich grabbed five rebounds with four assists. 
- Kate Ruzevich pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out four assists.
- All five Lindenwood starters (Bildner, Medlen, Fuhring, J. Ruzevich and K. Ruzevich) had a plus/minus of +20 or better. 
- The Lions out-rebounded the Cardinals 44-25. 
- Lindenwood out-scored William Jewell 42-36 in the paint. 

UP NEXT
The Lions wrap up the 2019-20 regular season with a pair of home contests next weekend. Lindenwood hosts Illinois Springfield on Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m. before ending the home slate on Leap Day against Lewis at 1 p.m.
