GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood women's basketball defeated Lewis 86-74 on Lindenwood's Senior Day at Hyland Arena. Entering the game, the Lions were ninth in the NCAA Midwest Regional rankings while Lewis ranked eighth. With the win, Lindenwood not only added to its postseason resume, but also finished the GLVC conference season tied for third place with a 14-6 conference record. The Lions will be the No. 5 seed in next weekend's GLVC Conference Championship.

Kallie Bildner led the Lions with 25 points and 15 rebounds. She was 7-17 from the field and 11-12 from the line. She ends the GLVC regular season second in scoring (22.1 points per game), first in rebounding (11.8 rebounds per game) and is the only player in the GLVC to shoot over 60% from the field (61.0%). She is the only player in the GLVC to appear in the top five in points and rebounds.

Devin Fuhring was second on the team with 23 points on 8-11 shooting and a 5-6 mark from deep. She ends the regular season ninth in the GLVC in scoring (14.5 points per game).

Lindsay Medlen tallied 14 points, eight assists, seven steals and four rebounds. She ends the GLVC season 25th in the conference in scoring (12.2 points per game), first in assists (5.72 per game) and second in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.07).Â

Ellen McCorkle continued to shoot well from the perimeter, scoring nine points on 3-4 shooting from three.Â

Megan Foster entered the game. It was her first appearance this season after an injury ended her senior season at the beginning of the year. She was able to pick up a steal and score a layup on her Senior Day.Â
PLAYOFF PICTURE
With today's win, the Lions end the regular season 18-8 overall with a 14-6 ledger in GLVC games, putting the Lions in a three-way tie for third place in their first season as members of the GLVC. However, in the GLVC Point Rating System, the Lions are fifth and will play fourth seeded Truman State on Friday at 2:30 p.m. Truman State ended the season 20-7 overall with a 16-4 mark in conference games. The Bulldogs are second in the GLVC standings.Â

The Lions take on the Truman State Bulldogs in the opening round of the GLVC Conference Championship next Friday. All games of the conference championship will be held at the Vadalabene Center in Edwardsville, Ill. on the campus of Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.Â
