The Lindenwood women's hockey team (5-23-5, 3-15-2 CHA) tied RIT (12-18-4, 5-13-2 CHA) in a 1-1 final on Saturday in Rochester, N.Y.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions took an early lead in the first period, as
Courtney Ganske netted her second goal of the game to take at 1-0 lead at the 1:48 mark. Less than a minute later, the Tigers tied the game at 1-1 with a goal just 2:33 seconds into the game. RIT outshot Lindenwood 24-15 in the first two period combined, but the Lions picked up the pace in the third.

Lindenwood compiled 13 shots on goal in the third frame, while the Tigers tallied just two. The Lions killed off all five penalties in the game, while the Tigers had to kill off just one late in the third period.Â
Annika Asplundh made 27 saves in the game, including 14 stops in the second period alone.
