Kyndall Baze and
Ryan Henry earned MIC Performance of the Week and MIC Gymnast of the Week honors, respectively, the league announced on Wednesday.
Baze finished with a career-high tying, and season-high score of 9.900 on the floor in a meet featuring Air Force and Southeast Missouri State. In addition to her 9.900 on the floor, Baze also scored a 9.800 on the vault which tied her career-high and season-high. It marks the first time this season that Baze has earned MIC Performance
Henry was named the MIC's Gymnast of the Week after a fantastic showing in the Lions' home meet against Air Force and Southeast Missouri State. She finished first in the all-around with a season-high score of 39.175, while tying her career-high score of 9.900 on the floor. She also added scores of 9.725 on the vault, 9.800 on the bars, and 9.750 on the beam. It is Henry's first time this season earning MIC Gymnast of the Week, and second award of the season, after capturing the MIC Performance of the Week accolade earlier this season.
The Lions will close out the regular season in a dual meet against Illinois State on Friday, March 13, at 6:00 p.m. Lindenwood will honor its seniors as part of Senior Night.
