Roller hockey returned to competition for the first time in 11 months and won the TORHS Winter Cup exhibition tournament January 15-16 at Vetta Sports 70 in St. Peters, Missouri.

The event included preliminary round robin competition where the Lions went 2-1.  They defeated Tour County Puck 3-1, edged Unify Mudsnakes 3-2 in a shootout, and fell to Carshield 3-2 in regulation.

In the AAA Championship game, Lindenwood stopped Tour Mudsnakes 4-2 to win the tournament trophy.

The event included some of the best teams in the country, with many including players from the U.S. National Team.  Roller hockey hopes to begin its regular season in the near future.
