The Lindenwood women's soccer team (4-8-1, 4-6-1 GLVC) fell by a score of 3-0 to McKendree (10-2-3, 8-2-2 GLVC) on Friday night from Lebanon, Ill.
GAME OVERVIEW
McKendree carried the pace of play in the opening half as the Bearcats jumped out to a 1-0 lead led than 20 minutes into the match. The Bearcats would extend its lead in the 35th minute, making the game 2-0 with 10 minutes to play in the opening half
McKendree would take that to-goal advantage into the halftime break.
The Bearcats added to their lead just two minutes into the second 45 minutes of play, making the score 3-0 early into the second half.
Lindenwood made a late push to try and get on the scoreboard, earning a corner kick in the 80th minute followed by a pair of
Mia Corrigan shot attempts, but neither found the mark.
McKendree would hold on for the 3-0 victory.
