The Lindenwood women's hockey team (0-4-0, 0-0-0 CHA) is set for its second-consecutive road tilt. The Lions will take on Minnesota State-Mankato (3-1-0, 1-1-0Â WCHA) in a two-game series, beginning Friday afternoon in Mankato Minn. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:07 p.m. from Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center.
Lindenwood dropped both games of its series last weekend against St. Cloud State last weekend. The Lions showed a balanced attack, offensively as four different players netted their first goal of the season, including
Valerie Caldwell who led the team with two points (1 G, 1 A) in the two-game series. The Glenview, Ill. native paces the team with three points (1 G, 2 A) through four games played.

The Lions and Mavericks last met during the 2019-20 season when Minnesota State won both games of the series by scores of 3-0 and 4-2, respectively. Lindenwood is looking for its first win over Minnesota State since December 9, 2017 when the Lions defeated the Mavericks 4-1 in Mankato, Minn.
