Men's Basketball Remains Home on Wednesday

The Lindenwood men's basketball team (1-1) will host University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy (2-4) on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

The Lions are coming off a five-point victory this past Saturday, after Jacoby Ross dropped 35 points, while Romelo Burrell registered his second doulbe-doulbe of the season.  Ross was 12-of-15 from the floor, including 5-of-8 from behind the arc.  Burrell scored exactly 22 points and pulled down 10 boards in each of his first two games this year.

Ross is averaging 28.0 point per contest after the opening weekend, as he is dropping buckets at a 60.0 percent clip from the field.  Frazier Ott was all over the floor on Saturday, as the product of Chaminade registered four blocks and five rebounds.

Through the first two games, Burrell has dished out five assists, compiled four steals, and tallied four blocks.  The Chicago, Ill. native does not shy away from the paint, as Burrell is 25-for-29 from the free throw line.

Lindenwood will close out its three-game home stand on Wednesday, as the Lions will hit the road for one game before returning to Hyland Arena for a five-game home stand.  The Lions host UHSP who is 2-4 on the year, as the Eutectics are on a three-game losing skid.
