GAME OVERVIEW
The Beavers got on the board first, finding the back of the net at the 2:30 mark of the opening period. Bemidji State extended its lead to 2-0 at the 8:29 mark of the opening frame, capitalizing on a breakaway while shorthanded. Just over five minutes later, Corbin broke through in the middle of the ice and fired a wrister past the Beaver netminder for her first collegiate goal. Sierra Burt and Thea Jorgensen picked up assists on the tally. In the period, the Lions compiled seven shots on goal, while Julia Maguire made 14 saves, as Lindenwood trailed 2-1 after 20 minutes of play.

Both teams continued to put the puck towards the net in the second frame, as Bemidji State regained its two-goal advantage with just over 12 minutes to go in the period. Seen minutes later, the Beavers struck again, as they converted on the powerplay, making the score 4-1. The Lions continued to battle, but the Beavers netminder put together a strong period, stopping all 12 Lindenwood shots on goal.

In the third period the Lions were unable to cut into the Bemidji State lead, as neither team could find the back of the net. Emily Finach made eight saves in relief of Maguire, but the Lions fell by a score of 4-1.
